Lantern Hill is located three hours south of the Mexican border in a small community called Cañón Buena Vista, outside of Ensenada, Mexico. Many children grow up attending our educational program three days a week. They receive tutoring, homework help, books to read, a healthy meal, and a safe place to play. Our teachers help the students stay on task with their regular school work, create additional educational activities, and encourage them to pursue their dreams. The students also enjoy reading time, arts, crafts, games, and sports. Lantern Hill provides backpacks, school supplies, high school and college students tuition fees, holiday celebrations, Christmas gifts, and a summer enrichment program. High school and college students give back by volunteering with the younger students.
